DEGERenergie is responding to the new trend in the industry and offers
2 tracking systems that were developed exclusively for concentrator technology. The new developments came about in 24 months of research and development work and are ready for commercial use.

The success of the CPV technology depends substantially on three components: High-performance solar cells, optics and tracking.
Particularly with the last point DEGERenergie developed a system
which is competitive and built on years of experience in the solar industry.

DEMAND POTENTIALON THE SYSTEMS

Accurate tracking for an efficient utilization of CPV technology is critical for tracking systems. Minute variations are immediately reflected in efficiency and level of yield.
Because of the high weight loads of the new CPV technologies
structural changes in the substructure must be taken into account. The new CT models are designed and engineered for these high demands and attained 0.03° tracking accuracy under laboratory conditions.

In the  productionmodels the 3000CT and 5000CT DEGERtracker operate with an accuracy of less than 0.1°.
